Hello,

I am in Calgary and I would like to start a data recovery business, what would be the best quality price equipment to start with ?

My idea goes to the Ninja 121 Forensics from YEC right now, is it a good choice ?

Data Recovery Feedback: Ninja 121 Forensics is mighty expensive.

Why don’t you just get an external hard drive and a Linux live CD? It’s a lot cheaper and equally effective.

Data Recovery Feedback: The first thing and the most important would be to get a top notch software programmer, with alot of experience in Operating systems and hardware…. when you find the right one he or she should be able to answer all your other questions !

Data Recovery Feedback: It’s okay but the kinds if issues it resolves can often be accomplished by educated end users.

Professional data recovery services must also be equipped to replace platters, heads & controller boards. As well, in order to do this they need a “Clean Room Chamber”.

Data Recovery Feedback: NONE OTHER THAN ENCASE FORENSIC SOFTWARE. all u need is a machine capable of running two or 3 virtual machines at the same time,

or get a linux live cd like Back Track.
