Can you answer screamingflower34’s question about Data Recovery?:
My laptop stopped working last night, and I took it back to Best Buy, where I purchased it. I have the service plan, so it will be repaired for no charge BUT they told me that its extra for data retrieval. Anywhere from $260 to upwards of $800 depending on what “level’ of work it involved to get the data. Am I getting ripped off or is that really the going rate to have a service like that done? Thanks.
